Osama57, your intentions are clearly good, but you've thoroughly mucked this up. If all we could have on a topic/do have on a topic is a dictionary definition, we direct them to the best place we have - our dictionary. It is not valid for a disambiguation page. You've completely deleted the edit history of this page with your wrong move (unless there's a clear primary page, pages should not end in (disambiguation)) which means I haven't been able to redirect Pantywaist in the nicer and clearer way it was originally. This way, a reader is directed straight to all the info we have (dict defs) rather than to non-relevant articles, which they would read all the way through without finding the word 'Pantywaist'. Please stop edit warring. Boleyn (talk) 08:46, 10 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Is the redirect pantywaist (clothing) nonrelevant though? I knew girls who wore tops like that in the 90s and they were known as pantywaists at the time. It's not just homophobic slang for someone who's viewed as less of a man, as the writer of the dictionary entry seems to think.

If you think the dictioary entry could be improved, please edit the dictionary entry - you can just as you can edit WP articles. There is no point in redirecting someone looking for the word 'pantywaist' to an article which does not even contain the term! WP is not a dictionary. We redirect them to the page with concise and useful information on the term - which is the Wiktionary page, which you may be able to improve. Boleyn (talk) 19:21, 10 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
