There is some idiot who keeps coming here and changing the word 'papa' to 'pape' in the man's name, getting rid of the fulham link and adding ridiculous claims like that one about some swedish band called penis. you are a vandal - please stop it!

Well, I'm not sure that changing the name was vandalism, in fact a lot of sources list him as Pape Bouba Diop, including the external link in the article. --Adolar von Csobánka (Talk) 20:22, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like someone is altering his stats for some reason, the whole Portsmouth section is mostly lies, he never scored for Portsmouth, and didn't play half the games they are claiming, including starting in the FA Cup Final against Cardiff. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.129.224.36 (talk) 04:11, 23 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It's a Senegal 0-1 WIN not "defeat" against France" 109.242.203.97 (talk) 01:21, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It says France was defeated. RudolfRed (talk) 03:08, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with RudolfRed, the use of the term "defeated" seems appropriate as they were the reigning world champions. It is a commonly used term and I don't see a reason to make the change. If you have additional support for your argument, please let us know. Jurisdicta (talk) 20:59, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
