Crowd size?

[edit]

One source says 150,000 to 200,000; another says 200,000. What is the official count? >> M.P.Schneider,LC (parlemusfeci) 17:47, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure there is an official number. I cited a Vatican spokesperson who said 150-200 000. In the same article, the police declined to give any number, but said there was fewer than expected. The article that says 200 000 doesn't seem to give a source for the number. With regards, Iselilja (talk) 20:54, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Inclusion criteria for delegations

[edit]

The delegation list is growing, and as there was 132 delegations it may be very long, if we don't have any inclusion criteria. My suggestion would be that we include royals, presidents and prime ministers from all countries who sent such representatives, and in addition leading representative/s from large countries which didn't send presidents/royals/prime ministers. However, we should not include representatives below presidents/prime ministers from smaller and medium-sized countries. With regards, Iselilja (talk) 20:54, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I would include them all but I think the lesser members of delegations could be cut. Keep each delegation to 1 save the case where both the head of state and the head of government attended (I think only Italy). Someone had added the president of Georgetown to the US delegation and I deleted him. If you fear a long table, split it in two: heads of state, and other nations sending delegations. In such case, I don't know which list would include people like princes representing their dad who's king or Canada's governor general (I'm Canadian, & yes we have a complex system - our head of state is Elizabeth II but she only visits 2 weeks every 3 years and the governor general is her appointed representative). >> M.P.Schneider,LC (parlemusfeci) 17:20, 22 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
