The reason for the first payment[edit]

I've left out the details of the payments here, even though they're interesting, because I can't understand Grenfell and Hunt's description of the purposes. The first was some wheat for "the ἐμβολή of the 13th indiction." The second I can understand. If someone could figure out a way to explain whatever that first payment was for, I think it'd be nice to have it in the article.
