Alternative interpretation section is suspect[edit]

Got to say... The alternative interpretation is, well, interesting. Could someone supply evidence or a legitimate published source for the whole alternative interpretation (not individual parts, but the whole thing)? The alternative interpretation feels like someone is trying very hard to shoehorn an unusual view into the text. I encourage someone to prove me wrong by supplying a legitimate published source.
