On "God helps those who help themselves"[edit]

This parable is about help from others, what is different from help of self, or miracle. It is ineptitude with (help from) society being addressed. Consider the correlation between monotheism and autism.

From an evolutionary point of view the man appears to be affected by a lethal disease what, as the story goes on, indeed kills him.
