Description

[edit]

I did a lot of editing in Description in the hopes of making it a little bit more understandable, and I also fixed a couple of spelling problems. Hope that helped. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.221.40.39 (talk) 05:39, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

To delete given that the article appears to be a chimera; searches don't support a separate diptych; The Haywain Triptych doesn't seem to be known by this name in reliable sources. Klbrain (talk) 15:05, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Bosch follower Last Judgment Triptych (Maeterlinck Triptych), Museum voor Religieuze Kunst (KRONA) in Uden, the Netherlands

This article is completely unsourced and nowhere is there any mention of a separate "diptych" by a follower of Bosch. Recommend merging with the main article on The Haywain Triptych. Cielquiparle (talk) 18:09, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support The current images are just the sides of the Haywain. But there seems to have been confusion over the years with two fragments apparently in a New York private collection, that are bits from a version of the Maeterlinck Triptych, also by a follower, and very different. Here they are at RKD one and two. The fragments show the tent and bed bits near the bottom of the sides. I'm looking at the full 630-page Museo del Prado, Catálogo de las pinturas, 1996, Ministerio de Educación y Cultura, Madrid, ISBN 8487317537, and can't see anything like any of these, nor does their entry on El carro de heno (#2052) mention anything. If any of the description is applicable, & worth taking over, then fine, otherwise this is just a chimera. Not sure the name should be redirected there though - too many Last Judgement scenes show "Paradise and Hell" - maybe redirect there. Johnbod (talk) 23:19, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Support In fact, I would support removing this article entirely. The only reference for this article seems to refer to The Haywain Triptych, not a purported separate diptych. Gorpik (talk) 06:40, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
