Unreleased albums[edit]

According to wikipedia policy (AKA WP:CRYSTAL), "Individual scheduled or expected future events should only be included if the event is notable and almost certain to take place." "Brand New Eyes" is definately going to be released, and is a album release by a notable band, therefore, should be included on all discographys and it warrants its own article. Please stop removing it from all the discographies. It's within the rules of Wikipedia. Just because something hasn't been released yet, doesn't mean it is Crystal balling--Gen. Compilation material[edit]

Should songs which were included on Compilation albums, such as "Decode" and "I Caught Myself" from the Twilight Soundtrack, be included in this article under Compilations?Dokerz (talk) 12:11, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think that they definitely should. It supports the what people would be coming to the page for. They want to know of anything that Paramore has done, so therefore, the article should provide information for all that they've produced. Spray Guard (talk) 23:57, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup tag - singles[edit]

Per WP:DISCOG there should be no more than 10 countries/charts represented. What is there now is excessive and needs to be reduced. - eo (talk) 20:32, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

10 days later, no responses.... last call before I start deleting? These columns need to be reduced to ten. - eo (talk) 16:02, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ireland and France should go, maybe US Pop. AcousticSynth (talk) 16:21, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah US Pop 100 is discontinued now, nothing else will ever be added there; I'm also lookin' at France and Netherlands as there seems to be minimal chart activity in those countries. - eo (talk) 16:29, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Brand New Eyes certified Platinum in the UK[edit]

Announced by Hayley Williams at the 15th November 2010 concert at the O2 Arena in London, and again via Twitter. http://twitter.com/yelyahwilliams/status/4322132410507264 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.151.87.125 (talk) 01:27, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, Ms. Williams is a first-party non-reliable source. If this is true, then the BPI site will be updated soon. Yves (talk) 01:30, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Singles Club?=[edit]

I see someone added "Renegade" to the singles table with a reference. Can those three songs really be considered as singles even though they are labelled as so? They aren't being sent to radios, they won't be released physically or digitally anywhere but on their official store (with limited copies) and no music videos are being shot. I don't think they are really "singles"... any opinions? Decodet (talk) 00:04, 19 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

brand new eyes sales[edit]

Paramore Certification Status in Ireland[edit]

I don't understand why this keeps being changed. According to Warner Music Ireland (in the bio section: http://www.warnermusic.ie/index.php/component/content/article/34-artist-page/138-paramore.html) 'All we know is falling' has gone gold in ireland and 'Riot!' and 'Brand New Eyes' have gone platinum. There is even a picture to back up 'Riot' and 'Brand New Eyes' 's platinum status ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/tonyburkejnr/4730056434/sizes/l/in/photostream/ ) which shows the band holding the plaque with their irish record label. There are other sources to back up this aswell. I really don't understand why this keeps being changed. Bobby (talk) 20:32, 10 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Because pictures and twitter accounts are not reliable. The only sources allowed for certifications are the official websites. Decodet (talk) 19:24, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, that may be true, but what about the sources used from their record labels website? Bobby (talk) 22:28, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

""Okay, I somewhat agree to twitter not being a valid source so I changed the source to the biography listed on Warner Music Ireland's website. Does this not prove the certifications? If not, there are other sources I have found, such as sources on the websites of: bbc.co.uk , Theo2.ie (where paramore is due to perform in september and has performed in before), Ticketmaster.com , Stubhub.com , Musicscene.ie , Celebrity Talent.net , paramoreplus.com , offthechartradio.co.uk and entertainment.ie Bobby (talk) 22:37, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Even though the website is Irish, it doesn't say anywhere where the albums were certified. They just say "gold-certified". They also say "a string of platinum and gold singles" but Ireland doesn't have certifications for singles, which makes me guess they are not talking about certifications in Ireland. Decodet (talk) 21:52, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
BBC is reliabie - but do they mention Irish certifications in there? Can you send me the link please? Decodet (talk) 21:55, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I just checked the BBC's website (I was only reading from what it said on google and didn't go into it the firs time) and it's just forwarded from the Paramore wikipedia page which says that Riot and Brand New Eyes are platinum (I swear I didn't do that, haha.). Ireland does have certifications for singles, singles go gold at 7,500 copies sold and platinum at 15,000. Here is an example - http://instagram.com/p/jqBnC/ . I understand that it doesn't say where it was certified but there are no other countries that have the exact certifications mentioned on the Warner Music Ireland's website, and it is the irish website. I have found another link on paramore.org , but something tells me this isn't reliable, no? (xD , it does however mention Ireland though). Plus, though pictures may be not be reliable, but the picture above has the caption is that it is platinum. Bobby (talk) 11:24, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, just stumbled upon a video on YouTube in which Hayley williams says that Brand New Eyes and Riot are both platinum in Ireland. Is that reliable enough? Bobby (talk) 19:46, 10 Nov 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.111.244.55 (talk)

Orphaned references in Paramore discography[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Paramore discography's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "altpress":

  • From Ain't It Fun (Paramore song): "Paramore's next music video will be "Ain't It Fun;" to be directed by Jodeb - Alternative Press". Altpress.com. Retrieved 2013-07-10.
  • From Brick by Boring Brick: "Paramore announce "Brick by Boring Brick" second single". Alternative Press. Retrieved 2009-10-15.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 06:15, 4 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Paramore Certification Status in Ireland Part 2[edit]

Okay, so on the Irish charts website, it says that Paramore have only gone gold with 'Brand New Eyes' in Ireland (2009), but in a video of them playing in Dublin on YouTube, Hayley Williams announces that both 'Brand New Eye' and 'Riot!' (2010). There are pictures of them holding the certified plaque online too. And in their eBook that is released in 2013 on iTunes called 'Writing the Future', at the back of the book it says that both albums have gone platinum, plus 'All We Know As Falling' is down as gold too, in Ireland. This keeps being changed back to gold on wikipedia. Are the two more recent sources not more reliable? Bobby (talk) 00:22, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
