Fair use rationale for Image:BNP Paribas Masters logo.gif

[edit]

Image:BNP Paribas Masters logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Must, must, must! Wikipedia is a volunteer project, no one "must" make any contribution at all. The natural reaction of an editor to this hectoring is surely to quit. Mowsbury (talk) 16:13, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Venue

[edit]

So far as I can tell the stated venue is an indoor arena with a single court, but multiple courts are required for such a tounament. Where are the other matches played? Mowsbury (talk) 16:15, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Prize money

[edit]

There is a difference between prize money and total financial commitment.[1] Prize money should be written in the infobox, not total financial commitment, as it usually happens. --Helios13 (talk) 20:21, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Past Finals

[edit]

In both singles and doubles, there are a number of "Not Held" indications (n.b., the ones for the singles and doubles for 1983-5 are different; it should be one way or the other), but no explanation is given for the gaps, which includes 1971 in the singles. players who won both Parisian tournaments

[edit]

There reads: Andre Agassi and Roger Federer are the only players to have ever won both Parisian tournaments (Bercy and the French Open).
However, Ilie Năstase is listed as the 1973 winner, and he also won 1973 French Open. Was something else meant to say with the sentence? They are the only double winners in the Masters era, but not the only ones ever. 82.141.95.243 (talk) 21:22, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
