I am pretty sure that the ecclesiatistical assembly consists only of members of the church of england on the church electroral role for the Parish, not the voting electoral role.

Neither the (1804) au sujet des assemblées paroissiales nor the (1905) au sujet des assemblées paroissiales state that. The law seems clear that principals and officers are members of the assembly, whether ecclesiastical or not. Of course the 1804 Loi goes back to the time when all assemblies and elections were held in the parish churches anyway. When the ecclesiastical assembly is discussing church fabric, then it's deciding on Parish property of course. But are not elections for synod laity representatives and church measures carried out separately, though, according to the CofE membership rolls? Man vyi (talk) 11:29, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
