Park Place

[edit]

Things said here are true, the person above me can't say anything because they live "NEAR" Park Place not "IN" park place speak on things you have lived through before you speak at all, cause you don't know how it feel to be scared to go outside cause the block you live by is run by some bloods that had beat someone to death so excuse me if I beg to differ. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Younghawkster (talkcontribs) 20:54, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I lived IN Park Place and while these things ARE true, there are other things not mentioned here. It cost 4 dollars to get your hair cut, when I lived there, elsewhere, the least you paid was 10. Many poorer college students, like me, lived IN Park Place too, and were generally welcomed by the African American community living there. Gangs and drugs were also present, but so were people who would knock your door to tell you that you left your car window open. This article is not inaccurate as much as it is unfair.

God Bless Park Place -- it was home, with all its faults and difficulties it was home. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.176.251.128 (talk) 23:04, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Biased?

[edit]

This article is deeply biased. While there are some facts quoted, there is a great deal of opinion. There is actually far more to the description of Park Place than what has been written here. My opinion is that the author of this article does not have much other information about the area other than an opinion which seems to be based primarily on anecdotal information.

I think the most recent incarnation of this article is much closer to the reality of this area. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.218.95.74 (talk) 01:54, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
