District or Piccadilly[edit]

The "Piccadilly line" template at the bottom of the page lists this station as a former Piccadilly line station, even though it was never served by the Piccadilly line. The "London Underground closed stations and abandoned plans" template lists this station under the District line, in conflict with the other template. It is an unusual one but I would suggest this station should be associated with the District line template rather than the Piccadilly line, since throughout its short existence it was served solely by the District Railway. --TBM10 (talk) 16:14, 22 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yesss... the station was closed (last day of service) by the District on 5 July 1931; the Piccadilly service (as far as South Harrow) was introduced a year later, 4 July 1932. --Redrose64 (talk) 16:25, 22 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Coincidentally, I've been updating all of the succession boxes today on this branch to include the District line's history so that it is clearer how the District fits in to the sequence. I have removed the {{Piccadilly line navbox}} from the article and amended it to take out this station.--DavidCane (talk) 02:42, 24 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
