File:Ye.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

[edit]
An image used in this article, File:Ye.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?
Speedy deletions at commons tend to take longer than they do on Wikipedia, so there is no rush to respond. If you feel the deletion can be contested then please do so (commons:COM:SPEEDY has further information). Otherwise consider finding a replacement image before deletion occurs.

File:Yeeun Wondergirls.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

[edit]

An image used in this article, File:Yeeun Wondergirls.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: All Wikipedia files with unknown copyright status

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review

Requested move 24 July 2016

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: Move supported, unopposed. Consider WP:RfD on the redirects to the page, they are outside of RM scope (non-admin closure) — Andy W. (talk ·ctb) 22:37, 13 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

YennyPark Ye-eun – Some background on this: Park Ye-eun is a member of the South Korean girl group Wonder Girls. The group was somewhat active in the US from 2009 to 2012, and then went on a three-year hiatus. They made a comeback in South Korea in 2015 and are currently active there. Yenny was Park's stage name in the US, and was never used in SK as far as I know.

I do not think Yenny is the most commonly used name in English-language sources, based on search results. She is most commonly referred to as Yeeun/Ye-eun/Ye Eun, and Wonder Girls' recent album covers (Reboot and Why So Lonely) say "Ye Eun". There are at least three other girl group members who go by this name, so the surname works as natural disambiguation (sources: [1], [2], [3]). There is also the question of whether Yeeun/Ye-eun/Ye Eun should redirect to here, or Ye-eun (name); this depends on which is the primary topic. Random86 (talk) 21:23, 24 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. 'Yenny' is not the most common name, and the be moved accordingly to reflect this. This article should probably remain as the primary topic and Ye-eun should redirect here; the other subjects don't have their own articles, and Ye-eun (name) is generally not what readers are looking for. — ξxplicit 11:39, 7 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
