Four duplicate ship names restored, plus one more[edit]

Further to my edit below, after reviewing the index at the bottom of the article I saw there were indeed Park class ships with duplicate names, so I re-added them to the main article in the Park-type cargo ships section. There was also a mention of a second ship named Mohawk Park, so I added it there as well.

Four duplicate ship names removed[edit]

Noting that the four lists were unsorted, I sorted them and in the process removed four duplicate names from the Park-type cargo ships list:

  • Kootenay Park
  • Montebello Park
  • Robson Park
  • Yoho Park

The original lists had 182 ships, which matches the count in the table above the lists. With my edit the count is reduced to 178. It's possible there were four ships launched that duplicated the name of a previous ship; after all, they were being built by a dozen different yards. The page needs to be reviewed by someone who has access to lists of ships built by all the yards, to see if my removal of four of the vessels was premature.

notable incident - 1947 crashed into Penarth Pier[edit]

this story goes with this image [1] as well as the one in the first article - it sounds notable - but I'm not sure where the line is when it comes to naval crashes, it does seem to be mentioned on Penarth_Pier#History EdwardLane (talk) 09:19, 17 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
