The part about only eight pilots being able to serve the airport is ridiculous, unless a better source can be found it should be removed.50.130.219.250 (talk) 20:29, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It's not 'ridiculous'. Saying "only eight Andean Condors in the world are authorised to land there" is ridiculous. It may however be outdated, or inaccurate. In which case, please feel free to present a new source rather than arbitrarily delete verifiable information based on a fallacious argument to emotion. My understanding - I am not a pilot - is that only one airline services the airport, and they only have two planes with very limited flights. It's not so much that eight out of thousands of pilots are qualified to fly there; it's that the airport's sole carrier only has eight pilots. 80.189.77.26 (talk) 21:11, 26 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Paro Airport. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Isolated, Why go there?

[edit]

Some information on why it was so important to create and then upgrade the airport, given the terrain, etc... Tourists? Cargo? Import, export, etc...? It would be interesting to learn about the local economy and why they need an airport THERE.72.181.112.54 (talk) 17:54, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
