The words tabar, khel (as Khel (Pastun)), pllarina and kahols each have their own article with essentially the same text. I suggest that they all be consolidated (merged) under Pashtun tribal structure, a single article which then can be expanded as sources are available. --Bejnar (talk) 04:59, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Khel, like Zai, Kaka, Ata, Ane, Khala, Lala, Jirga, loy...etc. are all of Turkic and Mongolian origine. Pashtuns have absorbed many altayic tribes, specially during the Mughals of India with whome the Pashtuns invented a new identity with their turkic and mongolian neighbours (Turkahan, Taghluk, Karaeit, Baraca...). Everything on Pashtuns should be rewritten in Wikipedia. The information are all wrong and written by nationalists, sourced with wrong sources. Bejnar, you are also of Mongol origine. The article currently does not say that Khel is Arabic, it says that Cooke reported that. So far the only source we have is William Crooke, right or wrong. William Crooke is generally considered a reliable source, but not necessarily about language. If you have a source for the Mongol origin of Khel, or any of the other words, please provide it. I would expect a large Arabic dictionary to refer to Khel as a Pashtu word. Right now the etymology of these words is not clear, and the three points of view are stated in the article, two of them without citation. --Bejnar (talk) 07:20, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
