Tom,I logged in and made some edits. I did not change the "also known as" line at the beginning, but I don't think it's exactly accurate. We adopted the tagline, The International Society for Patent Information, as a description, but the Board at that time did not decide to treat it as the name of the organization, just to use it to describe the organization. The list of original founding members would only be valid to include if any of those people actually had Wikipedia articles - otherwise, it has to go. Also, you'll note the citation needed tag just after the lead. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 21:24, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've made a few minor (hopefully helpful) edits to the draft, clearing up some confusing wording and some copyediting, and adding some wikilinks; I think some of the material is superfluous to the article though, and will need to be trimmed down. I added citations and rewording to deal with the citation needed in the lead and the clarification needed about the bylaws in the Historical Development section. I also did a bunch of minor edits, most of which resulted from errors in creating reflinks. Tomwolff52 (talk) 16:39, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
