Plan to build replacement bridge possibly abandoned

[edit]

The article says "Currently there is a conceptual plan to possibly rebuild the [Hackensack River] bridge as part of an extension of the Hudson–Bergen Light Rail to the Meadowlands Sports Complex." This is supported by a 5 year-old press release.

Rather than extending the HBLR, the new Meadowlands Rail Line now provides commuter (heavy) rail service to the Meadowlands Sports Complex, presumably via the Berrys Creek railroad bridge. I think the above sentence should be removed but I don't have any documentary sources that say the light rail option has been abandoned. --RoyGoldsmith (talk) 12:39, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Found the reference. Altering the article. --RoyGoldsmith (talk) 11:14, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure

[edit]

There are quite a few poorly constructed sentences in this article, or sentences that appear to have been edited badly. Words and punctuation seem to have been removed, creating run-on sentences that are not making sense. It is a bit painful to read this article, actually. I would fix them, but I'm not sure what they are supposed to say, since I'm not familiar enough with all the towns or areas through which this road travels. Anyone game? nycdi (talk) 06:47, 22 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
