First album[edit]

This article mentions that Folk Song Favorites (MG-25101) was Patti Page's first album, which is confirmed on page 65 of Colin Escott's book Roadkill on the Three-Chord Highway: Art and Trash in American Popular Music, but there's an album with a lower catalog number: Patti Page (MG-25059). Does someone know for sure which one was Page's first album? Mathonius (talk) 17:14, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I might've figured it out. Patti Page probably was a compilation album (apart from "That Old Feeling", all the songs on that album have been released as singles or B-sides as well). Folk Song Favorites is the first complete album Page recorded, it simply wasn't the first album of hers that was released. Mathonius (talk) 19:18, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Patti Page early history[edit]
