From the article: "In a distant view, even though the monument looks much like its French counterpart, one jarring note seen scripted on the southwest corner of the monument says: ”From a closer distance, it looks even less impressive, like a monster of concrete”."

I don't understand what this is trying to communicate. It seems to me the options are:

•"At a distance, it looks like the Arc d'Trimuph [sp.], but up close it is a monster of concrete."

•"At a distance, it looks like the Arc d'Trimuph [sp.], but there is a jarring note seen on the SW corner. Seen up close, the monument is a monster of concrete."

•or (least likely, but the meaning given how the sentence is currently written) "At a distance, it looks like the Arc d'Trimuph [sp.], but there is a jarring note seen on the SW corner that says 'Seen up close, the monument is a monster of concrete.'." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.70.143.134 (talk) 03:24, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Changes as at suggestion at second bullet above has already been done by the user.--Nvvchar (talk) 00:35, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
