I wish to comment that I believe Wikipedia has given this author great accommodation and latitude to have a Wikipedia page about himself. I personally do not believe this author and person involved in mid-level Hollywood television and movie productions has risen to the status of being enabled such a page for the following reasons:

1. He is not famous by any stretch of the imagination. 2. He is not a best selling author, not anywhere near being one. 3. Though years ago he did appear on Good Morning America to promote his first book due to a promotion by his publisher, he has not had what anyone would consider to be a successful writing career. Anyone can publish a book in this day and age. 4. There has been evidence of Mr. Davidson's former misuse of his page to promote an "upcoming" screen play project in violation of its rules not to use it as bulletin board for self promotion. 5. There has been evidence Mr. Davidson has used an individual (or perhaps did it himself) to funnel his information through to place on the page in violation of Wikipedia's policies. 6. At best, Mr. Davidson can be called a semi-popular blogger with his "Words for My Enjoyment" blog. However, this in no way qualifies him for a Wikipedia page.


I've noticed since my last visit two years ago Mr. Davidson's page has been notably whittled down to practically nothing. This is still too much latitude for Mr. Davidson desire for status and publicity because he has done nothing of significance to enable him to maintain a page on Wikipedia without it violating its own policies. I believe the only reason Wikipedia has enabled Mr. Davidson's page is due to his claim to be a comedy writer. I'd very much like to link up his page to "Narcissism", denoting this entire page for what it is in more accurately describing this publicity seeking, yet rather pathetic claim to fame.

I propose this page be removed, that unsuccessful virtually unknown book authors do not qualify for a Wikipedia page, nor as mid-level Hollywood movie/tv programming facilitators as he is.

By allowing Mr. Davidson to maintain a Wikipedia page, Wiki lowers its standards considerably that any mo jo can have a Wikipedia page if he writes a few books and works a little in Hollywood while doing a few stand-up routines at their local pub once in a while that gets a few Youtube video hits. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Brainchannels (talk • contribs) 14:44, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
