@WomenArtistUpdates: the Smithsonian SIRIS catalog has Rudolph doing a painting called "Inter State Industrial Exposition" in 1873. At that time she was 8 years old. Do you suppose this could be "the frieze Industrial Arts for the Reception Room of the Illinois State Building" in 1893 ? Well if you check out the Smithsonian listing you'll see that they have changed it. The "1873" was actually a part of the title of the painting and not the date is was supposed to have been executed. All is well. Carptrash (talk) 22:33, 31 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
