Pawel Abbott was born in York, and so his birth would have been registered in Britain. Therefore, since the British government does not recognise accented letters when registering births, his name should be written "Pawel Abbott", not "Paweł Abbott". – PeeJay 16:29, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
