Cleaning up this article[edit]

This article has some grammatical issues, I just reworded the background section and plan to do the rest of it another time - Indianman19

Deleted last sentence in Background section (paragraph two) because it is a repeat from article lead: "The signing ceremony was at Lee Gardens Hotel in Hat Yai, Southern Thailand on December 2, 1989." Reference 2 still required? David Thibault (talk) 19:49, 9 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Copyediting completed on this article. Two queries: In the Aftermath section, should "Peace Village" be plural? In the References section, have the author names been inserted correctly (last name first)? David Thibault (talk) 22:04, 11 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Additional copyediting query (Reference 2 still required?): Here is my comment from the change I made to the article: Changed "accord" to "agreement" for consistency.
