Weather during the race
[edit]One central aspect of the Peachtree Road Race is the weather. It might be informative to include a discussion of Atlanta, GA climate and almanac data for each race day. Arm42 (talk) 13:27, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
Sneaking in
[edit]The sentence "On July 4, 2007, three men were caught sneaking in to the AJC Peachtree Road Race. In addition to a $1,000 fine, each was banned from the AJC Peachtree Road Race for life." is just plain silly and should not be in the article, especially without a citation. Each of the 6 years that I have run, I see many people sneak in. In the years I ran in an early wave, I would see dozens. When I ran in wave "D", I passed many people with wave "M" or "S" or greater bibs. Some people only want to "run" 2 or 3 kilometers to pick up their T-shirt. The organizers could easily reduce the practice by banning anyone who crosses the finish line without crossing the start line. Since this is just a fun run anyway, there's really no need, but it does lessen the accomplishment for those of us who struggle to finish in a good time (like, under an hour...) Prize Purse?
[edit]I see nothing in the article about the prize purse. Looking at https://more.arrs.run/raceSeries/19, it appears that they offer significant prize money. Anecdotally, everyone I know who has ran Peachtree has gone there explicitly trying to make some money. It seems to me that this would be very worthwhile including yearly total purse into the article. 173.20.145.76 (talk) 19:33, 9 October 2021 (UTC)
