Relevance of Google Doodle[edit]

The relevance of Linares being featured on a Google Doodles was raised by 189.203.204.88. See edit summary of their reverted edit. ----Comm.unity (talk) 06:51, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I assume that the google doodle is why this page has had so much activity in these days. But I am not sure if that should be mentioned in the article. I note that the point was raised in relation to another page on Talk:Google_Doodle#Notability_criteria but nobody has responded. -- Beardo (talk) 15:24, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Possible whitewashing campaign from Google[edit]

Hi all,

Please see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:189.203.204.88

I am the guy who originally raised the concern on Linares' article, I am doing some research and I'm fiding a pattern of IPs behind VPN whose only job seem to edit wikipedia articles to add a small paragraph (all with the same writing style) regarding the Doodle. My theory is that is someone working for Google, doing this to improve their public image.

I will post the results here as soon as I get them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.203.204.88 (talk) 09:34, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You may be correct - though the editor who added the mention here seems to be a normal editor. -- Beardo (talk) 04:03, 1 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
