Fraud[edit]

The article, in its present form, claims that

It was reported that the Indian government used Pegasus to spy on Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and diplomats from Iran, Afghanistan, China, Nepal and Saudi Arabia.[32]

This is a falsehood, as the cited source states that "The numbers of Imran Khan and several of his ambassadors in India appear on the list as potential targets." The key is "potential". There were never any allegations that Khan's phone was spied upon.

Copyright infringement considerations[edit]

I'm not familiar with the subtle differences of Wikipedia policies between English Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons. Yes. as proposer. The content in "Use of spyware" essentially duplicates content from the "Regions and targets" section from the Project Pegasus article. Besides, outlets not participating in Project Pegasus are still making revelations about Pegasus, as is the case with the recent scandal in Poland (I'm not aware of any of the outlets participating in the project, and Gazeta Wyborcza has published a lot lately), and their inclusion in that article as it stands now would not be warranted because the Project Pegasus article artificially restricts the scope to Project Pegasus outlets. We may retain some information about the project itself, but what is much more notable is not the fact the outlets united themselves to uncover Pegasus secrets but rather the results of their work, as published in investigations. Therefore, as proposed, this article should refer to the technical aspects of the software while the other article should list all government meddling incidents and reactions, regardless of whether uncovered by Project Pegasus or by other outlets. Yes - I agree that it is better to not have duplicated content. I also support the change of name for Project Pegasus (investigation) to be more open to all usage as proposer suggests. Also suggest a disambiguation note at the top of THIS article to point the reader to that article, since many will be looking for that article and might find it by this name.
