If you think about it, this game really does have a plot; in each level pack, Fnord threatens the player and is a boss at every last level. Also, it has Fnord pretending to have a change of heart in the second-to-last pack and trying to take over the Peggle Institute. The final pack then deals with all the playable characters in the levels taking the last stand to defeat Fnord.
