First LP
[edit]Apparently Coolidge was not the first American female composer to have an entire LP devoted to her works. The Symphony in E Minor "Gaelic" by Amy Marcy Beach (Mrs. H.H.A. Beach) was recorded by the Society for the Preservation of the American Musical Heritage in 1968 and apparently occupied an entire LP. See catalog.loc.gov. (The work by Arthur Foote that it's paired with on CD re-issue came from a different LP of 1965.) Kalimac (talk) 12:08, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
