Claim of being a newspaper[edit]

I cut off my edit summary incidentally. It should read: It talks about, wait, the claim of the "Peking Gazette" being a newspaper. The obvious and immediate nexus to the Relation is that this publication is recognized as the earliest newspaper, not the Peking Gazette. I can not rationsalise two pages in Wikipedia, Viz., Will someone with knowledge correct or cross reference this page statement of (PekingGazette) "The introduction of European-style Chinese language newspapers, along with the growing intersection of Chinese and global affairs generally, applied pressure for the tipao to adapt, and circulation of the Beijing Gazette was in the tens of thousands by the time publication ceased altogether with the fall of the Qing Dynasty in 1911.[2] The gazettes from Beijing at this time were known as Jingbao (京报), literally "reports from the capital".[3]" With the statement on (Tipao re Beijing Gazette) page "The introduction of European-style Chinese language newspapers, along with the growing intersection of Chinese and global affairs generally, applied pressure for the tipao to adapt, and circulation of the Beijing Gazette was in the tens of thousands by the time publication ceased altogether with the fall of the Qing Dynasty in 1911.[2] The gazettes from Beijing at this time were known as Jingbao (京报), literally "reports from the capital".[3]"--Robbygay (talk) 04:31, 7 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
