M Twins

[edit]

Just out of curiosity, why isn't there an article on Claudette and Nicole St Croix? Is it because all the information about them is given in this and M, or just the fact that no-one has gotten around to it? --JB Adder | Talk 10:41, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've created a page for the M twins and added many relivant pictures and info and you all can enjoy my very detailed M page. Enjoy Ryonslaught 22:53, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New Codename

[edit]

Now that Penance is called Hollow, we should change the title of this article. I'm pretty new to Wikipedia editing, so how does one do this? --Freespirit1981 00:36, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Umm....can someone change it back to "Hollow"; the article should be about the form, and NOT M or her twin sisters. In fact there IS an article about the twins...but not Monet herself. Remember, she was TRAPPED in this form, so there should be a separate article named "M (Marvel Comics)". --Freespirit1981 21:35, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is an article on Monet St. Croix...the title is M (comics)Minity 21:42, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
"Hollow" only refers to Penance III. Furthermore, I'm sure more people think of the character as Penance, and not Hollow. --DrBat 00:04, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

changes

[edit]

Well you guys have brought up some good points, most people do know her as Penance but considering Speedball is the new "front runner" where that name is concerned it may be time to change this page to hollow once "the loners" hits the shelves. As for the information regarding her, most of this page is on M and her twin sisters both of whome i've made pages for. Only information unique and central to her character need be on this page otherwise we should just link to M for the years Monet inhabited the body and Monet-twins for when the twins inhabited the body.

As I said the information on this page should be unique and not just throw away for what already exists on other pages.

Ryonslaught 20:12, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

YES! :) That's what I was thinking, too! This article needs to be about HOLLOW, NOT M or her sisters. It should mention how they were both trapped in her body, and her history. Oh, and BTW, "The Loners" # 1 came out April 11th (this past Wednesday), though Hollow won't join until the end of # 2, and # 3 will feature more of her past (I hope!). --Freespirit1981 21:32, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This isn't the first time there's been more than one character with the same name.
Again, Hollow only refers to this latest incarnation of Penance. If you want to create a separate page for that incarnation when more information about her is revealed, fine, but don't move the article itself. --DrBat 00:42, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Updates

[edit]

I've ipdated the page with a picture of Penny/Hollow as she appears in Loners and references from generation-x since the page had such scant referencing.

Mute?

[edit]

I know that Penance/Hollow was mute in Generation-X, but she speaks a little in The Loners # 3. She says "Like". The rest is hissing, but she definately speaks now, so shouldn't we change the beginning of the article? --Freespirit1981 18:09, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I guess no one objects to me fixing that part of the article. --Freespirit1981 00:25, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unnecessary categories

[edit]

I feel that since neither the twins nor Monet are inhabiting the Penance body, that we should remove this character from "Fictional twins", "Fictional Algerians", etc. There is no need for nationality until we know who is currently inside the body. --Freespirit1981 01:27, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, feel free to do so. Ryonslaught 16:37, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ummm....How does one do this? --Freespirit1981 18:28, 3 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Hollowx.PNG

[edit]

Image:Hollowx.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
