Name?

Technically no such thing as the Penn Central Railroad existed; if I remember right, the corporation was the Penn Central Corporation and it traded as just Penn Central -- but most people will probably use this.

Revisiting this decision rather later, I think I was wrong. Moving to Penn Central. —Morven 18:21, Nov 16, 2004 (UTC)

Wikify

The article has great information, but is topheavy - note the table of contents halfway down the page. See the section on wikifying articles, and try to classify some information from the top section under the subsequent headings, creating new ones as necessary. Kether83 02:03, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

How about this?

I have rewritten a bit, written some new headings, and moved some stuff around, and hope this article is now OK with readers. Bigturtle 02:16, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

Importance Level

I listed this article as high importance because of the major effect the PC had on railroading in the US.3D jonny 01:07, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

Move

I moved this back to Penn Central. Article should either be at the official name of the company or the most commonly used name; Penn Central Transportation was neither, and in fact I can't recall having ever seen it used. We shouldn't invent new names for articles. Matthew Brown (Morven) (T:C) 23:49, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

Popular Book

Wasn't "The wreck of the Penn Central" a popular book in the 70s? Its it notable?
