Schools[edit]

I don't think that schools from Cherrybrook, Normanhurst, Hornsby, Wahroonga, Pymble, Cherrybrook and St Ives need to be listed on this page: it could simply be noted that other schools, both public and private, exist in sorrounding suburbs. I've left them there for the moment, as this might be considered subjective, but I don't think it's relevant. Will remove if there're no objections (please voice them here). Action: Removed the lines referring to specific schools, instead mentioning that other schools are available in the sorrounding areas. There are lists, such as List_of_selective_high_schools_in_New_South_Wales which could be added to this section, if someone could do that cleanly. Skittled 22:54, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Famous" remake?[edit]

"Within Pennant Hills is Louise Way, which is the filming location for "Cherrybrook" in the famous Briggs family remake of the famous Melbourne-made soap opera Neighbours made by the Seven Network (ATN-7)"

I am questioning the validity, verifiability, and notability of this statement, on several levels. First is the POV 'fluffing' throughoput this single sentance. Second, was Neighbours ever "remade" for commercial television?

As usuall, re-add if verifiable evidence can be presented. -- saberwyn 09:12, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Penno is a myth?[edit]

I've heard Pennant Hills referred to as 'Penno' by locals... I've even done so myself. It might not be commonplace, but that's not the same as referring to it as a myth. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Decursus (talkcontribs) 07:53, 3 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Apologies for the lack of signature before. Still... are there any to gainsay me on this point? I think the sentence saying it's a myth should be removed.--Decursus 12:42, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nope, no reason to delete, it's a valid fact that can be verified by a former resident of Pennant Hills, yours truly Renelllope 11:43, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It was always Penno, mate. Penno, and Wespenno. Rumiton 14:27, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Too many headings[edit]

It seems bizzare to have a heading for topography, entertainment etc. when there is only about one sentence of information below. Should we merge the headings or add more information? Mr john luke 11:45, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thorby's Corner[edit]

Does anyone else recall this name applying (I think) to Thompson's Corner in the early 1950's? Rumiton 10:06, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
