This article goes into entirely too much minor detail about the college's study programs and how these programs will benefits the students. If you take a look at the University of Pennsylvania article, you won't see nearly as much of this sort of detail. I think these promotional details need significant trimming before the "Advert" and "Wikify" tags should be removed.

I briefly removed the tags after some revisions, but then I decided there's still a lot of work to be done.Folklore1 (talk) 16:18, 21 January 2010 (UTC)

I agree on the level of detail - thanks for cleaning it up. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 16:27, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

I've removed the Honda Pact section completely. Perhaps some of this info merits a sentence or two. If so, perhaps somebody who knows more about the subject will identify and add text more suitable for Wikipedia at a later date. Folklore1 (talk) 20:24, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

After some more revisions, I felt the article was improved enough to remove the "Advert" and "Wikify" tags. If you think it's not quite ready, put the tags back and leave a note here about what you think is needed. I added the "Refimp" tag, because I'd like to see a few more references, especially for dates about athletic achivements. I've also asked for "when" in a couple of places that were vague about time or assumed somebody would regularly update. Folklore1 (talk) 15:52, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

After adding some references and removing minor unreferenced text, I removed the "Refimprove" tag. Folklore1 (talk) 14:45, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Eligibility and requirements for athletics

This section described insignificant details that did not seem appropriate for a Wikipedia article. So I removed it. Folklore1 (talk) 19:03, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

Known as Penn Tech

Was it actually known as Penn Tech in the 1990s? Is it still known as Penn Tech? Folklore1 (talk) 01:47, 19 August 2011 (UTC)

At least one newspaper still refers to the school as Penn Tech. See below. Folklore1 (talk) 02:11, 19 August 2011 (UTC)

"Area students named to Penn Tech dean’s list". The Express. June 2, 2011.

"Local residents graduate from Penn Tech". The Express. January 20, 2011.

As a current student I would say no. Everything has been transferred over to "Penn College". 74.43.50.24 (talk) 01:14, 20 September 2011 lol R>N

Penn Tech is a perjorative. Faculty and Staff have been advised to politely correct anyone using the name. Penn College is the official nickname of The Pennsylvania College of Technology. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.59.85.10 (talk) 00:16, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
