darned good question[edit]

How the crap do you calculate volume and surface area assuming "unit edge length" when the faces are irregular polygons? There are two different edge lengths, so which one is the unit? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.128.4.10 (talk) 15:13, 28 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Face vs 3D Model Consistency Problem[edit]

Under the Geometry section, the dimensions of a face are based upon a short edge of unity length. However, under the Cartesian coordinates section, the short and long edge lengths are based upon the unity length of the dual Snub Cube. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:602:9201:4050:5A55:CAFF:FEF1:2FAF (talk) 07:21, 6 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Scale Problem[edit]

Trying to use the info under the Cartesian coordinates section, after quite some head scratching, I was able to come up with the 12 each even and odd permutations and draw the figure in a spreadsheet, manually finding adjacent vertices to draw the edges to check for mistakes, but found that the small edges were all of length 2.712406131 and the large edges were all of length 3.850649402, all a factor of 4.570454036 larger than expected. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:602:9201:4050:5A55:CAFF:FEF1:2FAF (talk) 07:21, 6 June 2021 (UTC) [reply]
