Hong Kong, British or International POVs please?

[edit]

This article in the form of a British diplomat's biography is clearly written largely from a Chinese Government political point of view of the Hong Kong negotiations. I do not begin to know the issues, but I suspect that for balance it would benefit from a review by someone who knows about the negotiations from other POVs? Thanks for your comment and edits. I do not think that the article is "clearly written largely from a Chinese Government" POV. In fact, almost none of the sources in the article was cited from any mainland Chinese media. The article is actually based on a number of "western point of view" sources, such as the obituaries from the Times and the Telegraph, while nearly all the Chinese language sources represent the "Hong Kong POV". I should be much grateful if you can point out to me which parts of the article make you have such feeling. --Clithering (talk) 12:27, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
