Request edit on 20 July 2018[edit]

Please change and replace the company name throughout this page from Peregrine Semiconductor to pSemi. On January 17, 2018, Peregrine Semiconductor legally changed its corporate name to pSemi Corporation.[1][2][3]

  1. Green tickY Portions of the text which contained the Peregrine name were changed to pSemi or simply "the company". The unconventional use of the lower case "p" makes integration of the pSemi name difficult, especially in circumstances where the name is placed at the beginning of sentences, where the Wikipedia guidance is simply to "place the name elsewhere in the sentence".
  2. Red XN Wikipedia page titles are not strictly based on a company's legal name. pSemi is still Peregrine Semiconductor, and there are other company's where the Wikipedia title is the traditional name whilst the abbreviated (or in this case, the stylized name) is mentioned in the lead.
I'd like to hear what other editors think about this, is the change necessary or can it wait for the time being?  spintendo  03:02, 21 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Logo Update Request[edit]

Thank you so much Username: spintendo for your help in getting this page updated to the new company name.

What is the best way to get the new pSemi logo added into Wikipedia? [1]

You may use the File Upload Wizard to upload the logo. Please make sure the logo is an svg or png format and that the size is chosen correctly. Please read the information at WP:IMAGERES for help on how to calculate the logo's desired size. I believe the tool used there as a shortcut in making those calculations is currently inoperative, so you may have to make use of the formula listed there instead. Any logo you upload cannot be larger than this calculated size. This is a requirement which is strictly enforced, and any uploaded file which is too large will not be added to the article. Finally, the logo must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria. The Wizard will take you through each item needed.  spintendo  19:03, 24 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
