I stumbled on this while reading about Ray Price. There were two different towns named Perryville in Texas's history.

If anyone ever endeavors to create articles for these small towns, these links might be handy. --GentlemanGhost (converse) 23:52, 16 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that there was yet a third Perryville, Texas in Cherokee County. And this is reportedly where Ray Price was actually born. Web documentation on this appears rather spotty, though. Here's a link [1] although I doubt it would qualify as a reliable source. --GentlemanGhost (converse) 21:51, 13 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There is no or ever was a Perryville in Cherokee county. The author of that article is wrong. Ray Price was born near Perryville in Wood County, Texas. His family was early settlers to the area. Ray's Dad, brother, and paternal grandparents are buried in the Perryville Cemetery in Wood County. His mother was from Winnsboro, about 10 miles North of Perryville. I am a resident of Wood County Texas and my family has been here since the 1850s. I am also a Ray Price fan. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JohnnyBob60 (talkcontribs) 18:11, 29 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
