Merge with Airport article

[edit]

shouldnt this be merged with the Perth Airport article? 27.33.234.172 (talk) 17:27, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Good question - no, as it's about the land, not the airport itself, which has a history all its own with its previous name of Newburn. Orderinchaos 04:25, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Perth Airport, Western AustraliaPerth Airport (suburb)WP:ASTONISH, the Australian airport is at Perth Airport and the airport its self is also in Western Australia (the Scottish one is at Perth Airport, Scotland). See also Talk:Corfe Castle (village)#Requested move 12 April 2014, Talk:Windermere, Cumbria (town)#Requested move 16 January 2016 and Talk:Finsbury Park (area)#Requested move 5 September 2018. Either "Perth Airport, Western Australia" should redirect to the Australian airport or to Perth Airport (disambiguation) but its WP:ASTONISHING that "Perth Airport" and "Perth Airport, Western Australia" have different targets. Target is consistent with Joondalup (suburb). Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:47, 11 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
