This sentence can't really be what's meant (in addition to being uncited):
- Critics of the Peru TPA say the pact will ... expose the country's subsistence farmers to disruptive competition with subsidized U.S. crops.
A subsistence farmer by definition grows food for their own consumption, not for sale on the market, and so is not really affected by competition or lack thereof. Presumably something else is meant, such as, "expose the country's small-scale farmers to disruptive competition", but in any case we should find a citation and just quote what the opponent(s) who've made this criticism actually do say. --Delirium (talk) 06:29, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
- you're right, but the criticism against the TPA didn't include the word "subsistence", they meant the other farmers who provide Lima with native food (except potatoes), although I cannot find a source for this.--Andersmusician VOTE 01:25, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
When is this agreement signed?
This article says it was signed on April 12, 2006. But today, December 14, 2007, CNN is saying that Bush is signing it now. Who signed it in 2006 then? tess (talk) 19:15, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

No mention of the Peruvian indigenous peoples
