Minor update, more needed
[edit]I don't know much about editing on Wikipedia but Minnesota became the 50th state to pass a pet trust provision in 2019. The previously cited ASPCA article is excellent but outdated on this point. The law can be found here. https://www.revisor.mn.gov/statutes/cite/501C.0408 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sparklekitten29 (talk • contribs) 20:28, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
Article improvements
[edit]This article needs a section on alternatives to pet trusts and drawbacks or criticisms of pet trusts. The NY Bar article and the pet care org source I added have some information on these topics. ChildofMidnight (talk) 21:15, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- The whole thing you're working from now is directly copied text from elsewhere. I think the best course of reaction is to delete the whole works and then start again on your own. Working off a plagiarized version like this will undoubtedly allow bits and pieces of leftover plagiarism to fall through the cracks...and besides, the current article is so poorly structured that there's no point using it as a starting point anyway. You are an experienced editor, and an article that you write on your own will be a lot better than the crap this user pasted into here. —Politizer talk/contribs 00:00, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
