Though not usable in Wikipedia, as it's original research WP:OR, according to FreeBMD, the births of three people named Peter Carrington were registered in Lancashire between 1929 and 1951 (commensurate with a circa-1966…1969 playing career); Peter J Carrington (mother's maiden surname Wood) birth registered July→September 1931 in Bucklow district, Peter Carrington (mother's maiden surname Shingler) birth registered April→June 1940 in Manchester district, and Peter Carrington (mother's maiden surname Liptrot (related to St. Helens Hooker Graham Liptrot?)) birth registered April→June 1947 in Ince/Ince-in-Makerfield district, are any of these Peter Carrington (rugby league)?
