keyboard[edit]

i readded the citation and added into the sentence that he "claims to have..." Since this article has been subjected to editing on the subject and i think this is the best way to handle the situation though i'll look for further sources. --AlexOvShaolin 23:07, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

'sampler'[edit]

While TG may have used alot of homemade gear, they didn't have a sampler in the digital sense. The box that was referenced here was a series of tape players connected to keys, a very primitive version of the early 1960s Mellotron, Chamberlin etc. Calling it a sampler is definitely misleading, as it wasn't really an innovation (certainly ludicrous to compare it to the Fairlight which was a computer system). Tremspeed 03:55, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Fairlight, which TG / Peter / Coil and James Thurwell were the first two use in any way public, major part of the last Psychic TV LPs w/Peter and Jhonn, and Coil's "Scatology". Also used by Kate Bush and Peter Gabriel. SleaZ turned Gabriel on to it, and Gabriel then Bush. Really, please. If anyone gets credit for playing a sampler, Peter does. Citing personal email[edit]

We have personal email from Peter that we have quoted about his work with Hipgnosis - both what he did and didn't. How to we provide citations for this?

Also, he very much believes that his tape-based sampler was a true "sampler" and should be referenced as his use of it during this days with Throbbing Gristle was ground-breaking and pre-dated the common use of samplers as Mellotrons were not common (if invented yet) and it pre-dates the Fairlight. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Austere (talkcontribs) 23:01, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:PeterChristophersonConcertPoster2007April14and16.jpg[edit]

Image:PeterChristophersonConcertPoster2007April14and16.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Thailand[edit]

Sorry, but SleaZ, a friend, didn't live anywhere near Bangkok, Thailand, but rather in the upper northern region. Will post the specific city when I look up his former mailing address. WinkJunior (talk) 05:56, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Cause of Death[edit]

I noticed that the beginning of the article mentions his death due to a fall; however at the end it states that he died in his sleep. First statement is unreferenced, and the second one links to a blank page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.213.156.235 (talk) 20:47, 23 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Founding Member[edit]

According to Genesis P-Orridge's Instagram feed Christopherson was not a founding member. Does anyone know more? I don't dare to change the article and don't know how to add something like a "disputed" tag (could anybody show me?). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Helleba (talkcontribs) 09:21, 13 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
