Porridge[edit]

I think I'm right in saying that Peter Vaughn only appears as Grouty in three episodes of Porridge. Despite this, his performances were so memorable that many people think he was a regular. Jooler 14:22, 1 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, quite so. I'll add a note of that to the article. Angmering 16:16, 1 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
He's also in the film of Porridge. Timrollpickering 10:04, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Added Face as one of his film appearances.Statto74 15:55, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Life[edit]

I've added some aditional information on his personal life (his parent's occupations and where he served while in the Army in WWII), taken from the Spectator interview in the External Links, as well as the fact that he appears to be legally blind, as mentioned by Game of Thrones' producer Dan Weiss in this interview (last question and answers).

Memoirs launched today[edit]

The Shropshire Star (daily paper of his native county) has today indicated he has launched some memoirs but details of title, publisher details etc are (by me at any rate) not yet known. Anyone welcome to look them up. I have cited some information about his childhood from the newspaper report.Cloptonson (talk) 18:47, 4 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
