amoveas manus ouster le main[edit]

"A judgment in favour of the applicant was equivalent to a judgment of amoveas manus ouster le main."

This is completely useless to those of us (I am sure the vast majority) who have no idea what "a judgment of amoveas manus ouster le main" might have been.
