may want to mention it's often referred to as "pet coke" --- Clarify: Is petroleum coke a valuable product for which cracking facilites are set up OR is it (a)a reasonably valuable byproduct of the process for creating fuel oil or gasoline [or other desired end products] OR (b)a nuisance with enough market to reduce its nuisance factor? ---

Health Impacts?

At a minimum, petcoke would likely be a source of particulate pollution that causes or contributes to respiratory and heart disease.
