How is this different from cheese in general?[edit]

Isn't peynir just the Turkish word for cheese? There are many kinds of peynir: beyaz paynir (lit. white cheese) = feta, sarı peynir 'yellow cheese', parmesan peyniri 'Parmesan cheese', etc. I suggested this be merged with paneer, but maybe better would be to merge with cheese. --Macrakis (talk) 21:06, 16 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
