Merge to Phillie Blunt?

[edit]

Responding to merge suggestion: I separated article "Phillies cigars" from "Phillie blunt" because the former is the real name of the line of cigars, whereas the latter is the street name of one variety/size of Phillies cigar, especially a Phillies Blunt that has been emptied and re-wrapped around an illicit drug, most often marijuana. The only source cited in either article, the official Phillies cigar web site, never uses the singular form "Phillie", only "Phillies", which is the official trademarked name; the site also clarifies that there are other sizes of Phillies cigars, not just Blunts. So, of course, I strongly disagree with the proposed merge.--BillFlis (talk) 11:10, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A lot of the info in Phillie Blunt was redundant and/or unsourced. And I couldn't see the need for a separate article on blunts when this represents only one of dozens of cigars manufactured under the Phillies brandname. I went ahead and merged Phillie Blunt into Phillies cigars instead of the opposite, as originally proposed.VandalCruncher (talk) 15:09, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
