Nong Bua Lamphu

[edit]

Why is Nong Bua Lamphu province (and Phu Kao - Phu Phan Kham National Park) included???

The Phu Phan Mountains are in the northeastern part of Northeast Thailand, mostly in Mukdahan, Sakon Nakhon and Kalasin provinces, with very small parts in Udon Thani and Khon Kaen. (See for example the map in the article.) Any proof that there is a geological connection with the mountains in Nong Bua Lamphu, i.e. that they are part of the same structure? (Despite being some 100 km away, with a low-lying area in between.)

I suspect this is just a misunderstanding because of the similar name of the National Park (Phu Phan Kham) in Nong Bua Lamphu....?
