Criticism of NTSB report
[edit]I changed the tone of the conflict of interest to more NPOV. I also added {{Fact}} to 2 statements that I cannot substantiate by reading the report:
- The current article says that the C-310 reported its heading to ATC, whereas all I could find is the vague 'Asheville' in the readback, which could be interpreted in many ways, but no heading ('heading' in aviation is in degrees, like '340').
- The article says that there is no 4 seconds pause in the transcript - I am not sure what is meant by that. I certainly understood from the report that there was such a pause, which was very important to explain the apparent confusion on the part of the C-310 pilot.
Any comments on the above would be welcome. Thanks, Crum375 13:23, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
I added "alleged" and removed the ‹The template Talkfact is being considered for merging.› [citation needed]. These were his allegations as noted in the references, so they're cited. This doesn't say anything as to the truth of the allegations, only that he made them. Alanhwiki 22:49, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
